Course Details

The course is a two-year Master of Architecture. The Master of Architecture builds upon your undergraduate architectural knowledge, providing you with advanced understanding in architectural design and research, contextual studies, technology and science, and studies for professional practice. Throughout your course, you’ll learn from practicing architects and leading researchers with strong local and international industry connections. Our curriculum employs a strong focus on sustainable systems and the application of advanced digital design tools to address sustainability at every stage of the architectural process. Upon graduating, you’ll meet the academic requirements for membership of the Australian Institute of Architects. Graduates who have also completed two years of practical architectural experience, of which at least one year is postgraduate architectural experience, will be eligible to undertake the Architectural Practice Examination, enabling you to be eligible for registration with any Board of Architects in Australia.

Qualification: Master Degree (By Coursework)

Course structure: To meet the course requirements for this course, you must complete a total of 192 credit points, made up of: four design studio units (24 credit points each); eight core units (12 credit points each).
