MTA Institute is a Registered Training Organisation owned and led by industry, for industry. Established in 1975, the MTA Institute is the largest private provider of automotive vocational training in Queensland. Offering apprenticeship training across the range of industry trades, the MTA Institute also offers training in developing sectors such as Hybrid Vehicles and Paintless Dent Repair. Located just south of Brisbane, the MTA Institute is based at the Sir Jack Brabham Automotive Centre of Excellence. Opened in 2012, this world-class facility is equipped with the very best equipment, exposing students to the latest technology and ensuring the best possible training experience. The MTA Institute offers a flexible training model, designed to deliver training around business requirements and training outcomes aligned to National Standards, and has 35 trainers delivering that training to more than 2000 students across Queensland, from the Gold Coast to Cairns and west to Mt Isa.
