Edith Cowan College, formerly known as Perth Institute of Business and Technology, was established in 1994, and provides courses in the areas of commerce, computing and information technology, hotel management, communications and creative industries and science, including nursing and engineering. It is the founding college of the Navitas group. The Navitas Group offers students a wide selection of courses and locations in conjunction with leading universities in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and United States of America. Quality teaching, facilities, academic and welfare support services for all students are central to Edith Cowan College's educational philosophy. There are 30 to 40 students per class. Edith Cowan College provides entry into the second year of the respective bachelor degree at ECU upon successful completion of the diploma. FEE-HELP is available for Australian citizens.
