Undergraduate Certificate in University Preparation
Avondale University
Course Details
The Undergraduate Certificate in University Preparation is a tertiary pathway course for students seeking alternative entry into the degree course of their choice. It may be suitable for recent school leavers who have not achieved the required entry-level ATAR, including those with no ATAR. The course assists with the development of tertiary literacy skills, especially English language skills in writing and communicating, and employment skills. It may also be suitable for mature-age students seeking alternative entry to a bachelors degree. The course enables students to develop the generic academic skills needed for higher education.
Qualification: University Certificate
Course structure: Depending on the units chosen, it is possible for students to receive full credit into most Avondale degrees including Teaching, Arts, Business, Ministry and Theology, and partial credit into Nursing. Therefore, it is important for students to select elective units that will transfer into their planned degree.
