The Master of Surgical Education is the industry leading course for surgeons who want to pass on their experience and knowledge to the next generation. Students will gain a foundation in educational practice for optimizing surgical training in the complex sets of skills required for safe surgical practice. Offered through the Department of Surgery, in partnership with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), this course caters to the unique challenges of teaching and learning in diverse clinical settings and recognizes the advanced technologies that are increasingly important in surgery and surgical training. Now with all subjects being delivered online, the Master of Surgical Education is designed with the flexibility to accommodate practicing surgeons as they become world-class educators.
Qualification: Master Degree (By Coursework)
Course structure: 4 core subjects; 4 elective subjects; plus either the Research or Coursework pathway.
