With south-east Queensland hosting the Summer Olympic Games in 2032, there has never been a better time to pursue a career in sport management. As a major contributor to Australias economic growth, the sports industry is set to be supercharged over the next decade with opportunities in sport development, facilities and event management, sponsorships, sport communication, marketing and more. Bonds Master of Sport Management puts you in the box seat to take advantage of emerging opportunities both in Australia and overseas. Exploring sport management from a grassroots level through to elite professional organisations, the program enhances your skills in high-performance sport management, advanced business strategies, management, international sport business, global sport law and more. All students are encouraged to volunteer in the sport sector and may be eligible to undertake an internship with a sport organisation of their choice. In addition to the built-in practical experience, students complete a 20-week Professional Portfolio focussed on industry experience. At Bond, our academics are professional and elite athletes who have experienced the business of sport first-hand. Youll meet experts in sport, law, business and public relations with a wealth of industry experience and contacts to share. With Bond accelerated three-semester-per-year timetable, the Master of Sport Management (Professional) can be completed in four semesters plus 20 weeks a total of 92 weeks.
