Course Details
This degree builds on the existing chemistry knowledge of students with research and professional skills to investigate, analyse and synthesise complex information, problems, concepts and theories in the systematic development of solutions to complex problems.
Qualification: Master Degree (By Coursework)
Course structure: Students complete a selection of core (compulsory) topics, option topics and a research project. These topics aim to provide students the practical and theoretical aspects of chemistry, but also an understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities and an awareness of social, economic, cultural and environmental aspects of chemistry in a global community. Projects and coursework have been designed to address topical concerns in industry and society preparing graduates for further enrolment in a research degree or employment in chemistry-related fields.
