Master of Psychology - Clinical

Course Details

This course provides the 5th and 6th years of training required for general registration as a psychologist in Australia. Graduates who achieve general registration will be eligible for endorsement as clinical psychologists with an additional two years of Board approved, supervised full-time equivalent practice.

Qualification: Master Degree (By Coursework)

Course structure: Students study specialist areas of clinical psychology as well as developing skills and knowledge in core professional areas. The course includes coursework and independent research leading to the submission of a thesis and practical placements. Students complete a minimum of 1000 hours of practical/skills training at on-campus clinic as well as external locations.
