Course Details
This degree aims to equip its graduates to meet the entry level competency standards for registration as a Physiotherapist. Students will learn to become evidence-based, contemporary practitioners in a range of clinical settings and with clients of all ages. Graduates of the course will have strong interdisciplinary practice skills, including client-centred practice, teamwork and leadership.
Qualification: Master Degree (By Coursework)
Course structure: Students complete fourteen core (compulsory) topics aimed at providing students the knowledge and skills from the core areas of physiotherapy practice to meet the entry level competency standards specified by the Australian professional accrediting body, Australian Physiotherapy Council. The degree involves clinical placements to facilitate integration of theory into practice. Students are exposed to conditions and clients with problems of increasing complexity as they progress through the degree.
