Course Details

The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) program is a two year full-time (or part-time equivalent) research degree in any field covered by the university, including theology and philosophy, nursing and midwifery, education, business, or arts and sciences. It is assessed on the basis of a written thesis which is submitted at the conclusion of the degree.

Qualification: Master Degree (By Coursework)

Course structure: 160 credit points. This course is completed by a major thesis only.

A candidate for the degree of Master of Philosophy must comply with the Research and Professional Degree Regulations. Candidates are required to undertake a range of online research modules upon commencing study. Modules are designed to enhance students' knowledge of the skills and requirements needed to complete higher degree research. Students will be advised of the modules required at enrolment.
