Course Details
This program aims to produce graduates coming from any discipline who can work as web information professionals, system and network administrators, database administrators, database designers, IT managers or software engineers. In addition to one of the coursework specialisations, students can choose one of the following: Applied Research - Learn about research practice and ethics, data science and visualisation within research training courses, preparing students to research thoroughly and effectively. Advanced Research - Students will undertake an exciting research project under the guidance of an available supervisor. Students will learn how to gather, organise and analyse information and ideas, to review, research and report on your chosen project area.
Qualification: Master Degree (By Coursework)
Course structure: 16 units.; 1 coursework specialisation (12 units).; 1 research specialisation (4 units)
Applied Research - Upon graduation with the Applied Research Specialisation, students will not be eligible for enrolment in USQ's Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program. Advanced Research - Upon graduation with the Advanced Research Specialistion, students will be eligible to apply for USQ's Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program.
