Course Details
The Master of Human Resource Management focuses on developing expertise in contemporary human resource management issues. The course is for current and aspiring HR professionals who are seeking the in-depth knowledge and skills necessary to engage in decision-making at senior levels within an organisation. The Master of Human Resource Management focuses on developing greater understanding of human resource management, employment relations and organisational behaviour. It provides participants with a thorough understanding of the business issues and challenges surrounding HRM and IR, and equips participants with the skills necessary to add value to an organisation. The course aims to provide leading-edge conceptual and practical understandings of human resource management in complex and unfamiliar workplace situations in order to facilitate management decision-making. Career options include positions in change management and general management, human resources, and organisational training and development.
Qualification: Master Degree (By Coursework)
Course structure: All students must complete a total of 72 credit points made up of 12 subjects, comprising four core subjects (24 credit points), a specialisation in human resource management comprising five subjects (30 credit points) and three elective subjects (18 credit points). The course may be completed in one-and-a-half years of full-time or three years of part-time study.
This course is part of an articulated program comprising the Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management, the Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, and the Master of Human Resource Management.
