Course Details

The Master of Health Administration will help you develop the skills and experience you need to lead and manage projects, health agencies, services and programs. We'll prepare you to advance into leadership and management in the public and private sectors in general management and in specialist roles in areas such as project management, quality management and the management of particular health professions. Our teaching staff have clinical qualifications in areas such as medicine, physiotherapy, nursing, organisational psychology and statistics, and in health administration research. They've worked in senior healthcare management roles in Australia and overseas, with organisations such as the Toronto Hospital (Canada), Inner and Eastern Healthcare Network (Melbourne) and various consulting firms, as well as having extensive governance experience. The range of electives allows you to further explore health economics and finance, health law and ethics, and process redesign.

Qualification: Master Degree (By Coursework)

Course structure: To attain the Master of Health Administration, students will be required to complete 240 credit points in total consisting of: 120 credit points core subjects 60 credit points from the approved list of specialisations 60 credit points of elective subjects
