Master Degrees (Coursework) prepare students to apply advanced knowledge for professional practice, scholarship and further learning corresponding to AQF level 9 qualifications. The Masters of Global Engagement is an 18-month unique interdisciplinary postgraduate course that will provide graduates with the capacity to understand the world and engage as global citizens. The course equips graduates with the ability to critically understand different local, regional, and global contexts. This is achieved through the exploration of the interaction of global themes with the dynamic and diverse societies of our region across Asia, Africa and beyond. The course expands expertise in the role of key historical, political, economic, geographic, social and cultural developments in shaping global and regional dynamics. It applies concepts of power and positionality to train students to understand the nature of global interactions in nuanced ways. The course develops critical and practical skills to achieve more just futures in an era of global uncertainty and transition
