Course Details
The course provides students with advanced knowledge of the theory and application of geospatial information systems (GIS) and Earth observation. The course provides a theoretical and practical framework for graduates from a range of backgrounds, as well as those from the public sector and non-government organisations wishing to extend their choice of career path by acquiring knowledge and skills in the capture, analysis and communication of spatially-referenced information.
Qualification: Master Degree (By Coursework)
Course structure: Students complete a selection of core (compulsory) topics, option topics and a research project. These topics aim to provide increased knowledge in both the theoretical and the practical aspects of forensic science. The coursework with research component of the degree provides students the opportunity to address topical concerns in industry and society preparing them for further enrolment in a research higher degree or employment in forensic-science related fields. Students must achieve a GPA of 5 or above to complete this stream.
