Course Details
This degree examines environmental policies, strategies and management systems, with a major focus on the recognition and development of sustainable environmental management in both urban and non-urban environments. It is international in scope but case study material draws strongly on the experience of Australia and other countries within the Asia-Pacific region.
Qualification: Master Degree (By Coursework)
Course structure: Students complete eight core (compulsory) topics.; either a minor research project or a major research project.; and option topics chosen from a range of option topics available. These topics aim to introduce students to contemporary theory and practice in environmental management and to the study of environmental processes and systems and provides a range of practical skill based topics such as field investigations, geographical information systems or groundwater hydrology.
