Course Details
This degree aims to enable Physiotherapists to deepen their knowledge base and skills in neurological physiotherapy practice. In addition, students will have the opportunity to develop research or practice expertise in an area of neurological physiotherapy and to apply this to a specific research or evidence-based practice project.
Qualification: Master Degree (By Coursework)
Course structure: Students complete six core (compulsory) topics and either a dissertation or clinical research as well as an option topic chosen from a range of topics available. These topics aim to provide students with the opportunity to review the principles and practice of neurological rehabilitation, with a focus on neurological physiotherapy, and apply these to contemporary practice.; and enable practitioners to analyse and apply evidence-based practice in neurological physiotherapy.Students will undertake professional experience placement as part of the course.
