Course Details

Gain superior knowledge and a firm skill base to pursue management careers in the arts and cultural sector. The Master of Arts and Cultural Management will develop your transferable skills so you can traverse a broad range of art form contexts, including film, theatre, dance, music and the visual arts. With a vocational pathway in mind, the Master of Arts and Cultural Management program includes an optional internship placement. Youll develop a practical understanding of cultural policy development in local councils and government.

Qualification: Master Degree (By Coursework)

Course structure: 200 point program (2 years full-time or part-time equivalent); 50 points of Foundation subjects (must be completed in the first 100 points of the program); 5 Compulsory subjects (62.5 points); Minimum of 62.5 points of Core subjects (maximum of 87.5 points); Maximum of 25 points of Elective subjects; 150 point program (1.5 years full-time or part-time equivalent); 5 Compulsory subjects (62.5 points); Minimum of 62.5 points of Core subjects (maximum of 87.5 points); Maximum of 25 points of Elective subjects; 100 point program (1 year full-time or part-time equivalent); 5 compulsory subjects (62.5 points)and37.5 points of Core subjects (Coursework only)
