Master of Advanced Health Care Practice provides health professionals with the opportunity to take the next step in expanding their careers. This innovative program gives medical practitioners, occupational therapists, paramedics, physiotherapists, radiographers and radiation therapists, and policy makers the opportunity to gain a Masters level qualification that enhances your professional practice and provides the widest range of options for the future. It is designed to enable you to graduate with a degree in your specialisation; Master of Advanced Medical Imaging Practice, Master of Advanced Occupational Therapy Practice, Master of Advanced Paediatric Physiotherapy Practice, Master of Advanced Primary Health Care Practice, Master of Advanced Radiation Therapy Practice, or Master of Advanced Paramedic Practice. Depending on your specialisation you can choose either a coursework pathway or a combination of coursework and a research project to achieve your professional ambitions. This program is delivered online (the Paramedicine specialisation is also available on campus), offering the quality and recognition of a Monash postgraduate degree with the flexibility provided by the latest online delivery technologies.
Qualification: Master Degree (By Coursework)
Course structure: The course is structured in two parts: Part A. Foundations for advanced health care practice and Part B. Advanced specialist study. All students complete Part B. Depending upon prior qualifications, you may receive credit for Part A. Note that if you are eligible for credit for prior studies, you may elect not to receive the credit and complete the higher credit-point option.
All specialisations are delivered Off Campus (online) except for Clinical Midwifery which is delivered at Peninsula campus.
