Course Details
The Graduate Diploma in Science (Groundwater Hydrology) requires 1 year of full-time study (or the equivalent part-time). The course specialisation is offered by the College of Science and Engineering. The course specialisation articulates with the 18 unit Graduate Certificate in Science (Groundwater Hydrology) and the 72 unit Master of Science (Groundwater Hydrology), and the sequentially developed topics enable progression through the three awards.

Course structure: This is a 36 unit program where students complete six core (compulsory) topics and two option topics chosen from a range of option topics available. These topics aim to provide students with knowledge of the critical interrelationships groundwater has in the hydrologic cycle such as surface water hydrology and soil-plant hydrology, amongst others. Students will gain a wide understanding of environmental hydrological processes and phenomena, including but not limited to groundwater.
