Course Details

The Graduate Certificate of Infectious Disease Prevention and Control offers an introduction to core concepts and skills in infectious disease prevention and control. This includes epidemiology, statistical research methods and quantitative analysis of health data. During the course you will explore key public health principles and practices aimed at preventing illness and protecting health in the community. Unique features of the course include learning from acclaimed Menzies School of Health Research researchers and experts in the field. Career opportunities for graduates include epidemiological or public health roles. On completion, students can articulate to the Graduate Diploma and Master of Public Health, or the Graduate Diploma and Master of Health Research.
