Psychology is the scientific study of human behaviour. It is a diverse discipline that encompasses many aspects of functioning, both normal and abnormal. Psychology is concerned with such things as individual and group behaviour patterns, physical actions and thought processes as well as our interaction with the environment and others. This program enables graduates from disciplines other than psychology to complete the equivalent of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited major in psychology, providing a pathway to a fourth year of study in psychology and meeting the requirements for provisional registration as a psychologist in Australia.
