Course Details
The Graduate Certificate in Science (Groundwater Hydrology) requires 0.5 year of full-time study (or the equivalent part-time). The course specialisation is offered by the College of Science and Engineering. The course specialisation articulates with the 36 unit Graduate Diploma in Science (Groundwater Hydrology) and the 72 unit Master of Science (Groundwater Hydrology), and the sequentially developed topics enable progression through the three awards.

Course structure: Students complete one core (compulsory) topic and three option topics from a range of option topics available, aimed at providing students with an understanding of the basic scientific concepts relevant to groundwater, current pressing groundwater management issues and the technologies employed to deal with them. They also receive basic training in a range of field, laboratory and computational methods, as well as learning communication skills and problem-based and critical thinking skills.
