Course Details

The Graduate Certificate in Dynamic Effects and Lighting is a unique qualification that provides students with the skills and techniques needed to produce industry-standard visual effects, and offers the opportunity to learn first-hand from the professionals at Rising Sun Pictures. Students learn how to create 3D visual effects such as explosions, water effects and clouds, as well as procedurally generated environments such as cities, beaches and forests, and how to use computer generated lighting applications. Students produce a finished show reel for prospective employees and graduate with a professional resume.

Qualification: Graduate Certificate

Course structure: Four 4.5 unit courses over intensive 12 week period.

All applicants are required to submit a showreel of their own work and a curriculum vitae outlining their relevant experience. This program complements the Graduate Certificate in Compositing and Tracking, also in partnership with Rising Sun Pictures.
