Candidates for H902 PhD will undertake research in a public health related topic under the supervision of academic staff members at Deakin University and University of Copenhagen. They will spend at least six months at each institution to allow them to be provided with exposure to international health systems and research. Research areas supported include Public Health and Health Promotion, Health Economics and Program Evaluation, Public Health Nutrition, Health Service Management, Medicine and Allied Health. A Doctor of Philosophy is awarded for a substantial, original contribution to knowledge achieved in up to four years of full-time study (or four to eight years of part-time candidature).
