Explore various theories surrounding political, social and contemporary issues in information technology through academically supervised research through the Doctor of Philosophy Information Technology. With the guidance and supervision of our internationally recognised research staff in the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment, youll undertake research to develop an advanced and integrated understanding of a complex body of knowledge in one or more discipline areas. By generating a substantial contribution to knowledge in your chosen area in the form of a thesis youll become an expert in your field and advance your career prospects. The Doctor of Philosophy is normally completed over two to four years of full-time or part-time equivalent and can be studied online or on campus. You will be referred to prospective supervisors in order to establish a possible research project.
