Monash College offers a specialised diploma that leads into art, design and architecture degrees.

Course structure: Part 1 consists of two trimesters over eight months. Develop your personal folio, which will show your creative work. After successfully completing part 1, you may be accepted into first year of a relevant Monash University degree, but you must achieve the minimum grades set by the faculty.; Choose your stream: Architectural Design, Fine Art, Communication Design, Industrial Design, or Spatial Design.; To enter directly into part 2 of the Fine Art stream, you will need a folio of creative work. If you do not have a folio you may be offered a place in part.; During part 2 you will study the same curriculum and complete the same assessments as first year undergraduate students. Classes will help you develop your critical thinking skills and university research techniques. These skills will prepare you for success at the University.; Depending on your chosen stream you may complete one or two trimesters. After successfully completing part 2, trimester one, and meeting faculty entry requirements, you may be accepted for entry into first year of the Bachelor of Architectural Design or Bachelor of Fine Art, with credits. After successfully completing part 2, trimester two, you may be accepted for entry into the Bachelor of Design (with specialisation in Communication Design, Industrial Design, Spatial Design or Collaborative Design).
