Course Details

The Certificate III in Painting and Decorating provides the skills and knowledge to became a qualified painter and decorator. Students learn how to prepare surfaces, apply paint and wallpaper, use spray equipment and apply decorative finishes on a wide range of surfaces. Students will gain real world skills through practical training delivered by industry experienced trainers. This qualification is suitable for an Australian Apprenticeship pathway. Completion of the general construction induction training program, specified in the Safe Work Australia model Code of Practice: Construction Work, is required by anyone carrying out construction work. Achievement of CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry meets this requirement.
