Course Details
This qualification is part of the Metal and Engineering Training Package. It is for people employed at the basic production operator level in manufacturing, engineering and related industry areas. Students will gain the base level competencies required by an operator working in these areas. They will also acquire skills and knowledge in workplace communication, occupational health and safety, quality procedures systems and planning, plus some industry specific skills.
Qualification: Certificate II
Course structure: 5 core units; plus electives to the value of at least 30 points
