Course Details

Jump start your career in the exciting and lucrative world of construction with Queensland’s most in-demand construction management degree*. In your first year, you’ll complete units that will lay the foundations for the remainder of your course. You’ll explore design thinking for the built environment and receive an introduction to construction management, structures and residential construction, urban development economics construction business, and integrated construction. Moving into a focus on your major, you’ll complete units in commercial construction, construction-related law, building services and contracts administration. You’ll learn about building measurement and estimating, and develop your design and building skills. In your final year, you’ll explore programming and scheduling, and gain an understanding of strategic construction management. Throughout your studies, you’ll apply what you learn to real-world projects and address real-world challenges with your lecturers and peers. You’ll be taught and mentored by some of the best in the business, and make valuable connections that’ll give you a head start on your future career.
