Course Details

As the only university in Queensland that offers an online planning qualification, the Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning (Honours) will cover both the Queensland and New South Wales planning legislation, and equip students to be a planner and designer of the future for cities, transport hubs and industrial infrastructure. Students gain practical experience through residential schools at USQ Toowoomba, and choose a research project in their fourth year to investigate a specific urban and regional planning area. Graduates can work as an urban and regional planner specialising in commercial and retail developments, urban renewal projects, transport planning, regional and residential planning, or environmental protection.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: 32 units comprising of academic and practice courses
