Software engineers are concerned with all aspects of building large, complex, software systems for applications in most areas of society including commerce, engineering, government and research. Software engineering is closely related to computer science, however, it is directed more towards the development of software systems rather than the theories and principles of computing.
Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Honours)
Course structure: The Bachelor of Software Engineering (Honours) is a four year program, students are required to complete 320 units, which is comprised of: 260 core courses; 20 units of directed courses; and 40 units of elective courses.
