Course Details
This fully accredited program gives students the valuable skills and knowledge needed for effective professional practice as a social worker. It emphasises practical skills and makes students job-ready as they complete over 1,000 hours of supervised placements. At the same time, students will access social research and theoretical perspectives. This will establish a pathway to a rewarding career in social work within private or government agencies, welfare support organisations, community groups or in health.
Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)
Course structure: 320 credit points. There are 2 field placements supervised by experienced social workers (total of 1,008 hours) in the third and fourth years.
