Bachelor of Social Work (Honours)/Arts


Course Details

This double degree program is designed to prepare students for the professional practice of social work including work in the wider field of welfare whilst also providing the benefits of an education in the Humanities, Social Sciences and the Creative and Performing Arts.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Honours)

Course structure: 264 units of credit, including the program core courses required for the Bachelor of Social Work program, as well as an approved major and minor sequence from the Bachelor of Arts. Students also complete an honours program in Social Work.

It is a requirement that students who are undertaking placements in certain government departments and related organisations undergo a security check.
