Combine your computing skills with other sciences and be relevant to a workforce that thrives on science and technology.Counselling: Gain strong practical and theory skills to manage the demands of a human services practitioner. Youll have a strong foundation to work in community organisations and develop a human-centered approach when working with clients.Environment and Sustainability: Explore environmental science, biodiversity conversation, climate change mitigation and adaption of natural resource management. Help to plan for a more sustainable future and study subjects that focus on climatology, ecology and conservation. Food Science: Discover the science behind the development of new food products and join one of the countrys most important industry. Youll study food chemistry and analysis, food processing, food safety and product development. Human Physiology: Study the mechanical, physical, and biochemical functions of humans in good health. Youll focus on the functional level of human anatomy and study the biochemistry of nutrition. Information Technology: Build your skills in software development, programming, languages, networking and the design and implementation of computer systems and information systems. Youll become an in-demand IT graduate who is flexible and relevant to a continuously changing industry.Mathematics and Statistics: Develop a solid foundation for a wide variety of careers and gain practical skills in undertaking analysis. Examine the fundamentals of theoretical and applied statistics, mathematical modelling and operations research, and computing and coding skills. Gain on-site training in commercial vineyards, wineries, winery laboratories and sensory analysis at the Queensland College of Wine Tourism. Extended majors: Delve into certain study areas and enrol in an extended major to build your subject matter expertise. The Psychology major is offered as an extended major.
