Course Details

With a myriad of majors and minors, craft a science degree that is uniquely yours with the ANU Bachelor of Science. You’ll have the opportunity to experiment in our state-of-the-art laboratories while being mentored by leading scientists. You’ll have the flexibility to go on fieldtrips, take your studies overseas, or try an internship. Whether your passion lies in marine science or mathematics, physics or psychology, you’ll be able to explore your interests and follow your passions with our most flexible science degree.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: In this program students will study a total of 144 units. Typically students will take 4 courses per semester (total of 24 units) and 8 courses per year (total of 48 units) as a full-time student. Students will complete 24 courses over the three years (total of 144 units). Out of the 144 units, 48 units (8 courses) must account for a science major, 24 units (4 courses) for one science minor and 24 further units (4 courses) as science electives. Students may choose to complete 96 units (16 courses) to account for two science majors. The remaining 48 units (8 courses) can be from science or non-science courses. This program can also be incorporated into a double degree through the Flexible Double in any of the three groups Arts, Business, Social Sciences, and Science or Engineering and Advanced Computing or Law.
