Course Details

The Bachelor of Science is designed to be a practical degree with a focus on laboratory and fieldwork. Students study a major in an area of science that interests them and develop a strong scientific understanding within that area. Students gain skills they can transfer to the workplace and graduate ready to make a real difference in the world.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: 108 units; fundamental studies in communication and statistics (9 units); 2 professional science majors (72 units); electives (27 units); at least 2 electives (9 units) must be science electives; up to 4 electives may be at an introductory level.

At least two of the following prerequisites: SACE Stage 2 Biology, SACE Stage 2 Chemistry, SACE Stage 2 Physics, SACE Stage 2 Specialist Math, SACE Stage 2 Math Methods, SACE Stage 2 Geology. For assumed knowledge refer to the UniSA website.
