Course Details

Learn the art and science of promoting population health when you study public health at UOW. Throughout the degree you will learn to improve living standards through preventing infectious diseases and poor health caused by unhealthy lifestyles and other societal factors, enabling positive mental wellbeing based on scientific evidence. This degree is for high achieving students offering an additional fourth year of study and is designed to provide you with the skills needed to demonstrate a clear understanding of research questions, an ability to investigate them and excellence in research practice. Allowing you to further develop your knowledge and skills in public health, this course gives you a competitive edge in the workforce.
