Defined as the study of the human mind and behaviour, and characterised by both scientific research and applied professional practice, psychology plays an important role in modern society. An understanding of human behaviour will give you an edge in a variety of careers, including human resources, law, education, social work, criminology, market research and computer programming. The Bachelor of Psychology will provide you with a scientific understanding of the psychological processes that underlie behaviour. Youll get exposure to a range of fundamental psychological concepts, as well as to specialised areas such as child psychology, neuropsychology, social and personality psychology, organisational psychology, cognition and perception, and psychopathology.
