Explore how the mind works, and why people behave the way they do. This course gives you the opportunity to complete a four-year sequence in psychology by including an embedded honours year. This meets APAC requirements that enable you to apply for postgraduate courses in psychology which may lead to registration as a psychologist.
Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Honours)
Course structure: 320 credit points. Students will complete 100 hours of community engagement when they undertake the unit PSYC310 Psychological Services Experience during the third year of their course.
Graduates of this course will be eligible to apply for provisional registration as a psychologist (subject to the conditions prescribed by the Psychology Board of Australia). They may also find employment in fields such as counselling, child welfare and development, education, health, human resources, marketing and market research.
