Bachelor of Podiatry Practice (Honours)


Course Details

Podiatrists are health professionals who deal with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of medical and surgical conditions of the feet and lower limbs. Your education and training will explore a variety of health sciences topics such as anatomy, physiology, microbiology and psychology, paediatrics, biomechanics, musculoskeletal conditions, diabetes, pharmacology and surgery. You will also develop podiatry-specific skills, enabling you to graduate work-ready. Practical learning experiences are integral to the course, and you will benefit from completing clinical placements at the newly established, purpose-built Allied Health Clinic at CQUniversity, as well as in a variety of external clinical settings, so you can put your learning into practice and gain real-life experience.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Honours)

Course structure: 31 units (192 credit points).
