Course Details

Be equipped to improve your patients quality of life through targeted treatments that restore function or minimise dysfunction caused by illness, ageing, or injury. Examine key elements of human anatomy, systems and movement as you develop skills in physiotherapy practice and treatment. Engage in hands-on learning at the JCU Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Clinic at JCU Townsville, Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas, and experience clinical placements in rural, regional and remote settings.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: 96 credit points as per course structure

If students identify as Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, JCU can assist them in pursuit of a health career through the Indigenous Health Careers Access Program (IHCAP). International student visa-holders must not enrol in more than a third of the total credit points for the course in online, distance or external study.
