Course Details

Start your unstoppable career with South Australia’s only professionally accredited pharmacy degree to become a registered pharmacist. As medicine experts, pharmacists are important members of the healthcare team. Pharmacists provide expert patient care to ensure that medicines are used to enhance health outcomes and minimise harm. Using cutting edge technology in dedicated pharmacy laboratories, you’ll develop skills in pharmaceutical and biological sciences to understand and prepare medicines. As an honour's student, you’ll develop advanced skills in research, focusing on an area of specialisation in pharmacy and related sciences.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Honours)

Entry requirements include ONE of the following prerequisites: SACE Stage 2 Biology, SACE Stage 2 Chemistry, SACE Stage 2 Physics. All students enrolled in a degree leading to professional registration must be registered with the relevant National Board. The registration process is undertaken by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with the University providing notification to AHPRA following enrolment in the degree. Students who undertake activities where interaction with the public is required must obtain a current National Police Clearance and a Current National Criminal History Record Check (Child-Related Clearance) from the Department for Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI). This certificate is valid for the duration of the degree.
