Course Details

Start your unstoppable career in the discovery, formulation, approval, evaluation and marketing of medicines. Pharmaceutical scientists are experts in the chemistry, biology, and biotechnology required to design and develop medicines. UniSA’s Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science is the only degree of its kind in South Australia, equipping you with skills which are globally relevant. You may also be eligible for the only double degree of its kind in Australia - a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science, Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) - which you can do with just two extra years of study.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: 108 units

Prerequisites to entry requirements include one of the following: SACE Stage 2 Biology, SACE Stage 2 Chemistry or SACE Stage 2 Physics. Students who undertake activities where interaction with the public is required must obtain a current National Police Clearance and a Current National Criminal History Record Check (Child-Related Clearance) from the Department for Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI). This certificate is valid for the duration of the degree.
