Course Details

The Bachelor of Pacific Studies will provide students with an in-depth understanding of the cultural, social, geographic, linguistic and political contexts of this diverse region, so they can take a leading role in Pacific policy and development. Students will also will also have the opportunity to engage in internship and immersion programs in Oceania, boosting their language skills and expertise in the region. Students who have an interest in anthropology, archaeology, history, linguistics, politics, gender or cultural studies, will benefit from the regionally relevant framework that Pacific Studies provides. Graduates of the Bachelor of Pacific Studies find employment in Pacific policy and development.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: The Bachelor of Pacific Studies requires the completion of 144 units

This course can be taken as part of a flexible double degree which allows students to combine two Bachelor degrees of their choice. They can build their own combination to suit both a career path and a personal passion. Students may be eligible for bonus points towards their ATAR for this program.
