A Bachelor of Nutrition Science degree trains you in human nutrition, preparing you to register as an associate nutritionist in Australia and the United Kingdom. This course explores the science behind nutrition, exploring nutrition across the lifespan, food in society, and the role of nutrition in health and disease.
Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)
Course structure: This course comprises 144 points, of which 126 points are prescribed, 12 points are selected from a research project, extended study or placement and 6 points are free elective study.
Students who would like to further their academic career may wish to consider taking for the Master of Dietetics at Monash. On completion of the Bachelor of Nutrition Science at Monash University, students will be eligible to apply for entry into the Master of Dietetics. As a Monash Nutrition Science graduate, this program can be completed in only 18 months (three semesters).
