The Bachelor of Nursing degree trains you to become a registered nurse in 3 years. Through our accredited nursing course, youll gain the knowledge, clinical skills and placement experience to provide high-quality nursing care and make a difference to your patients.
Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)
Course structure: The course develops through theme studies in human bioscience; the sociocultural context of health and illness; clinical assessment and nursing practice; and professional practice, which come together in nursing practice as demonstrated in the final year clinical placement units.
Students undertaking a Faculty Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences course with clinical or fieldwork placements must demonstrate compliance with police, working with children checks and immunisation requirements. Drug Administration Policy Students should be aware of their legal responsibilities regarding the administration and storage of drugs in keeping with the Drugs Poisons and Controlled Substances Act 1981 (Vic) and the Drugs Poisons and Controlled Substances Regulations 2006 (Vic).
