Course Details

This course focuses on professional nursing practice and theory and is underpinned by a philosophy of person-centred and holistic care, making our graduates highly sought after. We develop professionals who have valuable skills and knowledge, and are known for their culturally sensitive client care, safe and ethical clinical reasoning, and advanced communication skills. All academic staff in the Bachelor of Nursing have relevant industry/professional experience and higher education teaching experience.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: 144 credit points: 24 core subjects; 1 elective; 28 weeks of clinical placement. Subjects are organised into 3 themes of study: Nursing Theory and Concepts; Integrated Clinical Practice; and Professional Perspectives.
