Course Details
This degree offers an accelerated undergraduate nursing program of study and aims to prepare students to become nurses who have a clear understanding of the professional requirement to be a nurse, are reflective about their practice and have well-developed clinical reasoning skills. This is a 2-year course or equivalent part-time.
Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Graduate Entry)
Course structure: The program is highly structured and combines clinical practice with topics addressing ethics, law, psychosocial health, mental health, Indigenous health, evidence-based practice and the biophysical sciences. All students are required to undertake clinical placements which may include morning and evening shifts, and are undertaken in agencies and hospitals throughout metropolitan and rural South Australia.
