Today’s music and performing arts practitioners work collaboratively, drawing on skills across performance, composition, songwriting, theatre-making, music technology, electronic music, production and creative practice. This program helps you build your professional skills and networks while developing an understanding of the cultural and social value of music and the performing arts.

Qualification: Bachelor Degree (Pass)

Course structure: The Bachelor of Music and Performing Arts requires students to successfully complete 240 units, which is comprised of: 70 units of core courses; 10 units from the Career-ready placement list, 80 units Major, 80 units electives.

With some additional study, graduates can also undertake careers as arts administrators, public relations officers, librarians in music resources, business managers for orchestras or marketing and public relations staff in the theatre.
